Encore Players has proudly partnered with the Katy-area rescue organization, Zeke Animal Rescue Fund, to showcase precious doggies in need of loving homes on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2010 from 12:0 pm to 6:00 pm in the Share The Love ~ Dog Adoption Day at KVPAC, during the matinee performance of Sylvia, a romantic comedy about a husband, wife and the free-spirited dog who comes between them! Want to save 3 lives, get free cookies, juice and a t-shirt? Then make plans to donate blood during the Have a Heart Blood Drive on February 24th benefiting St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital Blood Center. Sign-up in advance or show up and share. The Donor Coach will be in Heritage Square at La Centerra from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word! Please Note: Donors must present a photo ID. Katy Sports: Third Annual Puddle for the Duck at Katy Mills Mall
Katy Mills is pleased to host the 3rd annual PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS, on Saturday, February 6th at 7:00 a.m. with the start and finish in front of Sun & Ski Sports. All of the event’s proceeds will benefit Ducks Unlimited, the world’s leader in wetlands conservation. Participants can choose from a 25, 37, 45 or 70 mile bike route. The registration fee is $35. Following the ride, registered riders will be offered a light lunch and the opportunity to win a bike. PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS is sponsored in part by Sun & Ski Sports at Katy Mills and Sellers Bros Grocery.
