Tri-County Quilt Guild’s First Quilt Show

treasures-of-the-heartThe Tri-County Quilt Guild is having it’s First Quilt Show, Treasures of the Heart.  Fairfield Baptist Church will be host to this fun event on Friday, February 12th, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, February 13th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Featured Quilt Artist for the show will be Tom Russell, Guild Member and talented quilter, teacher and local celebrity of HGTV’s Simply Quilts fame.

Treasures of the Heart will be a Judged Show, with special exhibits, a Merchants’ Mall, Tin Can Raffles, Quilt Appraisals, a Tea Room, a Guild Cookbook, and much more.

This year’s donation quilt is a gorgeous Victorian Crazy Quilt called Victorian Elegance.  Under the direction of expert needlewoman and Guild member, Connie Suarez, the individual blocks were machine-pieced and exquisitely hand embellished by several of our talented Guild members.  The drawing will take place at the show; tickets are available for purchase for Guild Members, as well as at the show.
