OH YEA! I had a blast at Texas Terror this past Saturday night! The music was HOT! It was practically a club scene while we waited in line. My girls and I went through this dark maze with rolling fog where creepy zombies came out of nowhere. I felt like I was in the movie Zombieland!!! The actors were seriously twisted! We ran through never ending hallways…I swear it seemed like we were trapped in a few rooms before we realized how to escape. But one room or area that we went into just turned into a different world. TEXAS TERROR WAS FREAKING LONG!!! It must have taken us about 30 minutes to get through it! I can’t wait to go back! Bring a wolf pack of friends – it is definitely worth the suspense and fun that you will have!

My wife and I checked out Texas Terror Haunted House at Katy Mills Mall. Man oh man...I was surprised with what they have done with the place. Man, I will not be able to look at a playground the same way again. The scenes are not just scenes glued to the side of the walls. There are no hallway windows opening and shutting with actors wailing through it. I'm talking you are literally are in a maze of a terrible nightmare. I have this slight fear of carnivals. Seriously, there is something strange about those guys behind the game booths. Obviously the games are rigged but what if in your nightmare you could imagine what a sick twisted Carne would really like to do to his patrons? That's what I felt like as I went through the carnival. The clowns were definitely on some wild strike doing strange things. I don't want to give anything away...but guys you gotta bring your date for this one...so much fun! Keep up the scares Texas Terror!

Last night, it was raining and the night was still young. My boyfriend and I just got through watching Zombie Land and we were debating about what to do to. But it was raining. :((( Suddenly, we heard Rod Ryan from 94.5 the Buzz say that he was at Texas Terror Haunted House. And that the lines were indoor. Which is great because I personally didn't want to stand out in some gravel parking lot in muggy rainy weather. Then have to pay for parking and tickets. So we get there and the admission price was $25 a piece. Okay...I decided to splurge. I have spent about $20.00 at other local haunted houses but they were just...meh. Remember the former Jillian's, well the producers of Texas Terror have done an incredible job of transforming it into a scary entertainment maze. It is definitely a scream fest! I was expecting the chainsaw wielding guy and a laboratory scene...BUT it was definitely creative and ORIGINAL! The actors were running overhead of us, swinging past us and they were doing some incredible stunts. The actors and the makeup artists were really great! There were some creepy eyed actors that came alive when I least expected - hallways that definitely turned into chilling scenes. Shady characters that you would probably see in a carnival nightmare. I would have to say that it must have been about 20 minutes or longer to get through this place. I believe I heard that it was about 60,000 square feet. It was definitely worth it!!! If you are into checking out Haunted Houses this is the place to go for a good thrill and a scream!

I visited this haunted house last night and will say, I think in was worth the $25! The actors were VERY talented and believeable and the sets/ themes were well excecuted. They had lots of themes that are original ideas, so walking through the house kept you on your toes. The only regret I have is not going in a larger group. Texas Terrors is all actors, no animatronic scares, so it was not as fun with only a small group of 4. If you plan on visiting I would say bring a group of 6 or more (or arrive when its a little bit crowded.)
Definately worth the money, proabaly will be going back again.
