Katy ISD Men Who Mentor Breakfast
If you are a man who currently mentors with the Katy ISD KEYS program or if you’re a man who’s thought about becoming a mentor to a child on the brink of success but didn’t know how to start – please attend the Men Who Mentor Breakfast on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at the Katy ISD Education Support Complex, Room 1200 (staff development entrance), 6301 South Stadium Lane.
There will be a manly breakfast along with great networking opportunities for those who do mentor and information for those who’d like to learn more about mentoring.

The Arc of Katy Fourth Annual Charity Gala
The Arc of Katy’s Fourth Annual Charity Gala will be held on Friday, February 26th at the Pine Forest Country Club. This year’s theme is Together We Can and the Honorary Chairman is Katy Mayor Don Elder.
The Arc of Katy is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization benefiting individuals in the Katy community with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The mission of The Arc of Katy is to create opportunities for all children and adults with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities that enable each person to be a participating and respected members of our community and to grow in mind, body and spirit. Tickets are for tables or individuals. Sponsorships are also available.

Pope John XXIII High School “Cruise Around the World” Gala
Everyone is invited to attend Pope John XXIII High School’s biggest event of the year, the annual gala, themed “Cruise Around the World.” This adult evening which benefits the students at Pope John XXIII High School will include live and silent auctions, a delicious dinner, music and dancing. The event is scheduled for Saturday evening, February 20, 2010 at the Omni Houston Hotel, located at 13210 Katy Freeway and Eldridge Parkway. Go out for a great meal on February 4th from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Texas Roadhouse and you will be sponsoring a homeless animals next meal.

Get your grub on with made-from-scratch cookin’ including steaks and burgers, fresh salads with homemade dressing, and award winning fall-off-the-bone ribs. Red Robin Opening Week

Christmas Character Breakfast at Second Baptist West
Saturday, December 12th and Saturday, December 19th at 9:00 and 10:00 am, Second Baptist West Campus is having a Christmas Character Breakfast. Cimmaron Elementary Hosts Breakfast with Santa
Cimarron’s annual Breakfast with Santa is this Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Kids can have their pictures taken with Santa and following, there will be a craft fair, book fair, and bake sale.
Breakfast will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and the craft fair from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Cimarron Elementary is located at 1100 S Peek Rd. in Katy.
A Girl’s Day Out with the Stonecroft Women of Katy
On Thursday, December 17th, the Stonecroft Women of Katy is hosting a December Luncheon titled “A Girl’s Day Out.” This great event features shopping, networking, an inspiring speaker, Christmas music, and a delicious lunch.
Speaker Christine Rothchild will be sharing How to Look Like a Million Bucks without Spending it.
The luncheon is $16.00 per person and will be held at The Club at Falcon Point, 24503 Falcon Point Drive in Katy. Doors open at 10:30 for shopping and lunch will be served at 11:30.

Cinco Ranch Ladies Club Fashion Show Luncheon
On December 12th, the Cinco Ranch Ladies Club is hosting a Fashion Show Luncheon for men and women in an effort to raise money to benefit Katy’s Breath of Life. Breath of Life benefits children who cannot afford immunizations and families who have lost jobs and need help with medical assistance.
This fun event will be held at Pine Forest Country Club, 18003 Clay Rd. from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on December 12th.

Breakfast with Santa at Morton Ranch High School
The Morton Ranch High School Maverick Band Boosters will be hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 5th. Come enjoy a pancake breakfast with your family while supporting a great cause.

On December 5th Bonnie Holland Elementary is presenting a day of fun for the kids and another opportunity to get some of your holiday shopping done. From 8:30 am to 1:00 pm you can enjoy a Chik-fil-a breakfast and get your picture taken with Santa. Follow that up with train rides, bounce houses, and craft activities, and shopping at the Holiday Craft Market.

27th Annual Fundraiser for Katy Volunteer Firefighter & EMS Association on Tuesday, October 20th
The Katy Volunteer Firefighter & EMS Association will be holding their 27th Annual Fundraiser tomorrow night, October 20th at the Katy VFW Hall. This will be a great Fajita dinner as well as a great opportunity to support the men and women who serve our community.
There will also be a raffle, with tickets available for $1.00, featuring the first prize of $1000 Mastercard, second prize of $500 Walmart Gift Card, and third prize of a $250 Cinco Ranch Spa Package.
The will begin serving dinner at 5:00 and the raffle starts at 6:30. Meal tickets are $10.00, Age 65+ are $5.00, and children 5 and under are free. Take Out is available.
