Little Shop of Horrors at Miller Outdoor Theatre
From July 13th – 18th, starting at 8:15 pm you can enjoy Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of Seymour, a timid and nerdy sales clerk at the seedy Mushnik’s Skid Row Florists, barely in business in lower Manhattan. He achieves fame and fortune after he discovers an exotic plant named Audrey II, a giant man-eating plant who demands to be fed. A Greek chorus of hip soul singers narrates the thriller with a score in the 1960s style of rock and roll, doo-wop, and Motown. Audrey’s appetite grows to gigantic proportions as the cast rapidly diminishes. This show promises to be an audience favorite! (captioned performance on July 16)

NASA Johnson Space Center at the Miller Outdoor Theatre
On Friday, July 2nd, Rice University, NASA Johnson Space Center and Miller Outdoor Theatre bring space to you. From 6:00 pm to 8:15pm touch a moon rock at the free NASA exhibit on the history and future of human space flight. At 8:30 pm you can enjoy a movie featuring the inspiring true story of the women and men of NASA mission control who heard “Houston, we have a problem,” and replied, “Failure is not an option.”

4th of July Jamboree
The Smith Ranch will be holding a 4th of July Jamboree. All proceeds go to the Foundation to help kids be able to participate in Cheerleading, Baseball, and Equine sports. This year they are excited to say that they will have live bands Two Tons of Steel, Granger Smith, and other local bands for you entertainment. Also there will be Water Slides, Bounce houses, Paddle Boats, Car show, silent auction, BBQ Cook-off (contact for entry information), and tons of fun for the entire family!!! Beer and Wine will be available.
The event will run from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child. .

Baseball Camp at Taylor High School
Baseball Camp at Taylor High School will be held from June 14th through June 17th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This camp is an advanced skills camp for kids 8-14 (incoming freshmen). The camp will focus on drills to elevate fielding, hitting, and pitching skills. This camp will offer a great instructor to student ratio. Coach Bowyer and Coach Enders have 23 years experience coaching at the high school level between them and both have played baseball past high school, including Enders pitching in the Major Leagues for the Tampa Bay Rays. The camp weeks are June 7-10 and June 14-17 @Taylor High School from 9AM-12. Registration can completed by requesting an e-flyer from championcamp@gmail.com. The camps fee is $125 per session. ESN Health’s Summer Fitness Party
ESN Health’s Summer Fitness Party will be held at Villagio Town Center June 12th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The summer fitness party will feature fun activities for all ages, including a contest for kids with a series of drills, tests, and exercises to test their athletic ability and fitness level. Kick off a healthy summer with a blood drive, Zumba, and a wealth of information about staying fit. Proceeds will benefit the American Diabetes Association.
