Third Annual Puddle for the Duck at Katy Mills Mall
Katy Mills is pleased to host the 3rd annual PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS, on Saturday, February 6th at 7:00 a.m. with the start and finish in front of Sun & Ski Sports. All of the event’s proceeds will benefit Ducks Unlimited, the world’s leader in wetlands conservation. Participants can choose from a 25, 37, 45 or 70 mile bike route. The registration fee is $35. Following the ride, registered riders will be offered a light lunch and the opportunity to win a bike. Cheer Clinic with Morton Ranch High School Cheerleaders
The Morton Ranch High School Cheerleaders will be having a CHEER CLINIC on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Morton Ranch High School Auxiliary Gym from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Boys and Girls ages 4 to 14 are welcome to participate.Registration begins at 8:30am. Show-offs for parents will begin at 12:30pm. Your child will learn several cheers and a dance!!Also, participants get to perform at a Morton Ranch High School Basketball Game on February 2. Registration is $20.00 until January 20. 4th Annual Heart of Katy Fun Run/Walk
On February 20th, you’re invited to join CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital’s sanctioned, certified 5K Fun Run and Walk. This event will include a 5K Run, 1 Mile Kids Run and a 1 Mile Family Walk|Run. City of Katy Boot Camp will be available at Katy City Park on Tuesday and Thursdays at 6:00 – 7:00 am and 7:00 – 8:00 am. Cost is $15 per individual session or $96 per month. Registration is now open for the Winter 2010 Flag Football & Soccer leagues running January 9th through March 6th at Beck Jr. High in Cinco Ranch in Katy and Winter 2010 Basketball & Cheer leagues running January 16th through March 6th at Pattison Elementary in South Katy. New Year’s Eve Broomball with the Fellowship at Cinco Ranch

League America Holiday Sports Camp
League America will host its holiday sports Building Athletes for Life camp for students in first through eighth grade Dec. 21 – 24 and Dec. 28 – 31 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the full-day program or 8 a.m. to noon for the half-day program. Katy Tigers Play for State Championship
This Saturday, December 19th, at 7:00 pm you will want to be at the Alamodome in San Antonio cheering on our Katy Tigers! They will playing Abilene for the Division II State Championship. Katy will be the home team on the press box side.
Presale Tickets, which are $7 for students and $12 for adults, are available at the Katy High School locations below. Please note the presale tickets are limited to 6 adults and 4 students per person.

West Houston Muscle Toys for Tots Car Show
West Houston Muscle Car Club is bringing a great holiday show to La Centerra. On Saturday, December 12th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, come check out classic and current muscle cars while supporting a great event.
Car enthusiasts are invited to cruise these toys for big boys and girls. Guests are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Toys for Tots.

Walk MS: Katy at Katy Mills Mall on Saturday, November 14th
Register TODAY for the 2009 Walk MS: Katy! The 2009 Walk MS will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Katy Mills Mall. Day of Event registration and check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. inside the mall at the AMC Theater and the Walk steps out at 9 a.m. You can walk or run the 1-mile loop inside the mall and check out all the sales prior to the stores opening and other shoppers arriving! Join the festivities with your friends, family, and co-workers. Participants will enjoy breakfast, entertainment and an experience that is only achievable at this awesome inside venue! 2009 NovemberFest Metric Century 20th Anniversary November 7th
This Saturday, November 7th, the Foundation for the Retarded invites you and your family to participate in the fully supported 2009 NovemberFest Metric Century scenic bicycle tour winding through the countryside near the Stephen F. Austin State Park. The 10, 23, 40, 47 and 64 mile routes all begin and end at Willow River Farms.
Afterwards,you can join in the festivities from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will feature a Small Town Parade withlocal marching bands, family-friendly food and games, Great BBQ, a quilt raffle, inflatables, prizes for kids and a petting zoo. Bid on items at the silent auction or purchase one-of-a-kind ceramics made by the residents of the Farm. All proceeds benefit The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation. There will also be shopping for artisan crafts, bingo, clowns, and ropers, and you won’t want to miss the Crowning of the King and Queen of NovemberFest.
