
Next Saturday, September 19th, Roosevelt Alexander Elementary is hosting a non-competitive 2 mile walk entitled “All for One, One for All.” The event will honor RAE 1st grade teacher, Christina Hague, and help raise money to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS’s mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since the first funding in 1954, LLS has awarded more than $600 million in research funding.
This will be a great family event and will feature music, games, and food and the walk will begin at 8:00 am. Click here for registration and fund raising information.
