2009 Heart of Katy Fun Run

As Katy citizens, we are blessed to have so many hospitals popping up around us. As the rising new medical corridor, Katy owes its appreciation to surrounding hospitals for choosing our area to serve. An easy, fun way to give back to the community and our loved ones will be in just a few weeks.

CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital invites you to join their sanctioned, certified 5k Fun Run on Saturday, February 14 (that’s Valentine’s day, folks). The run will start and end at CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital.

Proceeds will benefit the CHRISTUS St. Catherine Fund, which helps support healthcare for those without financial resources, new programs, and the ongoing expansion of hospital services to meet the growing needs of the Katy community, including the CSCH Heart Program.

Following the race, there will be awards, including the Overall Male and Female Winners and Masters, and an after-party. Here is the schedule:

7:00 – 7:45 a.m. Late registration, packet pickup
7:55 a.m. ………. Announcements and line up
8:00 a.m. ………. 1K Family Race Begins
8:15 a.m. ………. 5K Race Begins

The Entry Fee is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and younger. There is also a $2.00 discount for HARRA members.

Packet pickup for early registrants will be help Friday, February 13 from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. at CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital (use the fountain entrance).
