i-Lipo – The Intelligent Alternative to Liposuction

i-Lipo is the latest in laser lipolysis, offering you a way to achieve inch loss and body contouring with no pain, no needles and no down time.

The i-Lipo emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes.  The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy.

What is HCG?

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, commonly called HCG, is a naturally occurring hormone present in pregnant women that allows the baby to feed and grow. Researchers in the 1950s discovered that men and women who took this hormone would safely flush out 4,000 calories at a time, leading to rapid weight loss without loss of muscle tissue.

Blood work is first done to ensure your body levels are within the average range. If they come back normal the doctor begins you on your HCG regimen. If levels are outside the healthy range they are identified and Selah Medi-Spa staff can advise you on what measures to take to bring everything back to normal before HCG dosing can proceed.

An HCG program lasts around 40 days. The hormone is taken by injection and users must follow a strict 500 calorie diet during this period. You will make visits to the clinic about once a week for monitoring.
