grand-lakes-presbyterianJoin Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church as they celebrate the birth of Jesus in a Christmas Music Celebration on Sunday, December 13th at 7:00 pm.  The entire music ministry will come together to lift voices, bells and instruments in the joyous music of the season.  Childcare is available for ages 5 and younger.

Christmas Eve candlelight services will be held at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm with childcare available for age 5 and younger.

King’s Company Presents “A Winter’s Gift”

In a convergence of playful, convoluted paths, disguises fall, truths are revealed and a winter’s gift is given just in time for the most celebrated night of all!

A Winter’s Gift is written by Michelle R. Davis and David Ward and will be performed at the Church of the Holy Apostles on December 4th and 5th beginning at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, December 6th at 2:00 pm.

Infant Holy: A Musical Celebration of Life

infantholyIf you are looking for holiday entertainment to get you in the mood for the season, you won’t want to miss the performance of harp and voice at Christ Church PCA on December 4th. 

Susanna Campbell and Ashley Lyons, harpists, and Joanne Bonasso, soprano, will present familiar and timeless carols such as “Silent Night” and “What Child Is This” as well as introducing you to several beautiful lesser known carols.

This musical celebration will begin at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary at Christ Church PCA, 3025 Katy Gaston Road.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston, a ministry dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of anyone affected by an unplanned pregnancy.

Celebrant Singers Concert at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church

An internationally known Christian music group, Jon Stemkoski’s Celebrant Singers, will appear in a free concert on August 2nd at 6:30 PM. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 5356 11th. Street  Katy, Texas.

Since 1977, the California-based Celebrant Singers have crisscrossed the globe with multiple troupes of 10 singers, live orchestra, lights and sound, presenting thousands of concerts featuring their signature close, energetic vocal harmonies in an eclectic blend of contemporary, liturgical, praise and worship and gospel music. Ever since the weekend of September 12th, when hurricane Ike hit the Texas coast and relief operations began, we’ve wanted to do more. Sure, during the week KISD had no school we took students out to help clean up yards & homes, but the damage here was minimal in comparison to those in Galveston. I’d watch the devastation on the news and think, Lord, how can we do more? This weekend, Redeemer is getting that opportunity. Read more

GCC Car Show in Katy this October

We would like to invite you to our 2nd Annual GCC Car Show in Katy, Texas, Saturday, October 18 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Trophies will be awarded at 3:00PM. Car Registration is $15 with a T-Shirt and $10 without a T-Shirt. The location is Grace Christian Church located at 2001 Greenbusch Rd in Katy TX 77494.
