Cinco Ranch Ladies Club Fashion Show Luncheon
On December 12th, the Cinco Ranch Ladies Club is hosting a Fashion Show Luncheon for men and women in an effort to raise money to benefit Katy’s Breath of Life. Breath of Life benefits children who cannot afford immunizations and families who have lost jobs and need help with medical assistance.
This fun event will be held at Pine Forest Country Club, 18003 Clay Rd. from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on December 12th.

Katy’s 6th Annual Holiday Parade of Homes
Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Holiday Parade of Homes sponsored by the CRHS Cougars Stars! This traditional holiday event is a Katy favorite! Come December 3rd or 4th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM to see five area homes that are sure to dazzle and get you in the Christmas spirit! Beware: Not all Your Katy Neighbors Want to be Your Friend!
My Mama grew up on a 400-acre Louisiana farm; it was a peninsula bordered by two bayous. These were picture postcard Louisiana bayous with cypress trees, Spanish moss, water moccasins, alligator gar fish and the real deal, alligators of all sizes. No kidding, creepy alligators that thumbed their long vicious noses at people who couldn’t do anything about them. When I was a child, alligators were on the Endangered Species list. Read more
The Solana at Cinco Ranch Senior Community
The Solana at Cinco Ranch will be located at 24001 Cinco Village Center Boulevard in Katy, Texas, next to LaCenterra, Cinco Ranch’s Main Street-styled center of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. It will offer 126 independent living and 32 assisted living rental apartments for seniors. The community is scheduled for completion in Fall of 2009.
The active adult community will feature concierge services, multiple dining venues, a wine bar, a terrace club activity room, and other amenities. Its developer, Formation Development Group, says research shows strong demand by Cinco Ranch residents seeking luxury senior living accommodations for themselves or for their aging parents.
