Meet Dr. Wiggins

Dr. Wiggins is a native Texan. He earned a Bachelors of Business
Administration from Southern Methodist University at age 19. He
then worked in the business community for 4 years before deciding
to attend dental school. Dr. Wiggins earned his Doctor of Dental
Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr.
Wiggins was awarded membership in the Baylor Odontological
Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor
society.

Following dental school, Dr. Wiggins completed a six year
M.D.-integrated oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. During
this time he completed 36+ months of oral and maxillofacial surgery
rotations, earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from
UT-Houston Medical School, and completed a general surgery
internship.

Dr. Wiggins is licensed by the State of Texas to practice both
medicine and dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board
of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National
Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of The American
Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The American
College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of
The Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The
Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Edward
C. Hinds Academy, The American Dental Society of
Anesthesiology, The American Dental Association, The Texas
Dental Association, The Greater Houston Dental Society, and The
American Medical Association. His professional certifications
include:

Microsurgery-Basic and Advanced

Christus St. Catherine Hospital.
