Janine to the Gregory! Quinta Brunson thrives in the spotlight, but she gives her husband Kevin Jay Anik much of the credit for her success.
In a November 2022 interview, Bruson noted that being 100% totally me requires a lot of things that many guys do not have time for. She added that some previous partners tried to adjust but ultimately learned there is no dimming me.
She continued, “My husband, that’s what I mean by him being the biggest support, that there is absolutely no need to dim me.” This enables me to really love him and be the person I want and was meant to be.
The Abbott Elementary actor stated that she and Anik started dating after clicking at a friend’s birthday party in her 2022 autobiography, She Memes Well. But throughout the years, Brunson has mostly opted to keep her relationship a private matter.
The 2022 Time 100 Gala was the sole red carpet appearance the pair made as a pair. Brunson hardly often discusses Anik on social media, but she did use Instagram to announce their engagement in July 2020.
More wonderful news, the Pennsylvanian captioned a selfie of herself wearing a diamond ring she had just gotten.
In her address at the 2022 Emmy Awards for Best Writing in a Comedy Series, Brunson, who declined to publish any images from the couple’s wedding, acknowledged that she and the sales manager were wed and referred to him as her husband.
She gushed while on stage, “I have to thank my mum, dad, brothers, sisters, cousins, my amazing husband because he’s the most supportive man I’ve ever known and my incredible cast and show for helping me to do this show and make the pilot. In case I’m not back up here again.”
In January 2023, after accepting the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Musical, or Comedy, The Big Mouthalum once more alluded to Anik as her better half.

For the first network comedy to accomplish it since Modern Family in 2013, the ensemble of Abbott Elementary received the SAG Award for Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in February 2023.
Later, Brunson shared a tender moment with her husband, referring to him as the best support system for the NBC comedy’s breakthrough triumph.
I mean, having a partner through it all, you can’t purchase that sort of support, she said at the time, according to Entertainment Today. Someone who is prepared to put in the effort necessary to create Abbott and become a part of Abbott is valuable. I am at a loss for words. I feel extremely blessed.
