American supernatural horror movie Final Destination 2 was released in 2003 and was directed by David R. Ellis. J. Mackye Gruber and Eric Bress wrote the script, which was based on a tale by the three writers and series creator Jeffrey Reddick.
It is the follow-up to the 2000 movie Final Destination and the second entry in the Final Destination movie franchise. Ali Larter, A. J. Cook, and Michael Landes are the movie’s main actors. Reddick was contacted by New Line Cinema about possibilities for a sequel following the film’s commercial success.
Plot
College student Kimberly Corman and her friends Shaina McKlank, Dano Estevez, and Frankie Whitman are traveling to Daytona Beach, Florida, for spring break exactly one year after the explosion of Flight 180. She gets a vision of a fatal pile-up being triggered by a logging truck as she waits at the entry ramp to U.S. Route 23.
The lottery winner Evan Lewis, the mother of a teen boy named Tim, the businesswoman Kat Jennings, the stoner Rory Peters, the expectant Isabella Hudson, the high school teacher Eugene Dix, and the deputy marshal Thomas Burke are all prevented from entering the highway when she stalls her car on the entrance ramp. Burke interrogates Kimberly as the collision occurs, but Shaina, Dano, and Frankie are killed by a vehicle carrier after Burke narrowly avoids harming Kimberly.

Final Destination (2000)
The high school student has a vision of the jet exploding as it takes off just before he is about to board a transatlantic flight with his friends for Paris. Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) plays the character. The jet explodes into a blaze barely off the runway, confirming Alex’s prediction, which is initially dismissed by everyone, particularly the group of passengers who were forced to leave the aircraft with him. But in Final Destination, death is coming to remind Alex and his buddies that they were destined to be on that plane.
Final Destination 2 (2003)
When she forbids her friends from driving on a roadway that eventually becomes the scene of a fatal, multi-vehicle disaster, Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) believes that she and her pals have escaped a fiery death. But even though she averted dire disaster for herself and others, Kimberly’s actions in Final Destination 2 simply made it easier for Death to kill them one by one.

Destination 3: the end (2006)
After graduating from high school, Wendy Christensen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has a vision of the roller coaster malfunctioning and killing everyone on board just as she is about to get on it with her friends. She and a few of her pals leave the ride before it takes off, but the prophecy comes true and kills scores of people all at once. But in Final Destination 3, this is just Wendy’s first close call with death.
