Are we relieved that this saga will soon come to an end, especially considering how hard fans worked to bring it back online? Undoubtedly, but now for the sweet part: There will only be four episodes in Season 2. Although it has previously been reported, Deadline has since confirmed it.
Vernon Sanders, the chief of television at Amazon and MGM Studios, issued the following statement regarding the situation:
We’re tremendously happy with the work Abbi, Will, the cast, and the crew did to reimagine “A League of Their Own,” which resulted in a hugely devoted fan base as well as countless well-deserved honors and recognitions. We are eager for our fans to see what happens next after seeing what [Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham] and the writing team have planned for the upcoming tale in this fantastic series.
It has been such a joy to create this presentation and observe its effects on the world. Despite the fact that we had hoped for eleven seasons, we are happy to be able to keep telling the narrative of these people and their world.
When Will This New Episodes Premiere?
We are not talking about a large number of episodes, therefore it makes sense that we would want to receive more episodes sooner rather than later.
We are also aware that it can take a while for Prime Video shows to appear on the site; recall that Jack Ryantook years to appear, and we are currently awaiting word on The Wheel of Time’s upcoming season’s release date.
