While the album has received a lot of praise, it has also received some unfavourable criticism. “Auntie Diaries,” Kendrick’s song on his experiences with trans family members, has a homophobic slur that he repeatedly uses. But even though he had no intention of making fun of anyone, several people were offended by the song.
