Tim Sherwood calls Arsenal’s £75m Duo ‘Magnificent’

Gabriel Jesus and Alexander Zinchenko are considered to be Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team’s two greatest players, according to Tim Sherwood on The Weekend Preview show.

Regarding Sunday’s Premier League match between Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in North London, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager made remarks about Jesus and Zinchenko.

Jesus, a striker for Brazil, was acquired by Arsenal during the summer transfer window from Manchester City, the reigning Premier League winners.

Jesus cost The Gunners 45 million dollars (Sky Sports).

Zinchenko, who can play as a left-back or a midfielder, also moved from City to Arsenal in the summer of 2022.

For the Ukrainian international, the North London club paid 30 million upfront and an additional 2 million (Sky Sports).

Tim Sherwood calls Arsenal's £75m Duo 'Magnificent'

The two best players Arsenal has are the two guys City let go, according to Sherwood. Jesus and Zinchenko have excelled.

Making an Impact

Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, in our opinion, have had an instant influence at Arsenal.

Zinchenko has performed admirably at left-back for the Gunners while Jesus is scoring goals with regularity.

The international for Ukraine has represented his country five times in the Premier League and has represented Arsenal for 21 minutes in the UEFA Europa League so far this year.

For the Gunners thus far this season, Jesus has scored five goals, provided three assists in eight Premier League games, and contributed one assist in two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League.

Tim Sherwood claims that the 75 million dollar duo are the best players on the Arsenal roster.
