An untimely trip to the restroom! Before their category was named during an awards event, celebrities including Doja Cat, Harry Styles, and others had to rush back to the platform.

The Say So singer gained notoriety at the 64th Grammy Awards in April 2022 when her collaborator SZA took the stage to claim the trophy for Best Pop Duo or Group Performance without Doja.

Are you serious, you took like five minutes to use the restroom? SZA questioned as she stumbled to the platform while using crutches.

When Doja eventually exclaimed, “I have never taken such a rapid piss in my my life,” she was out of breath.

The rapper broke down in tears as he accepted the trophy for Miss Me More after regaining composure after nearly missing the victory. (The two women defeated the artists Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga‘s I Get a Kick Out of You, Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco‘s Lonely, BTS’s Butter, and Coldplay’s Higher Power.)

I’m incredibly grateful for it. She thanked everyone, saying, “Thank you to my family, my team, and my fans. I wouldn’t be here without you.” You know what, SZA? You mean the world to me. You are amazing. You are a lyricist, the pinnacle of talent. You are everything.

She’s not the first celebrity, though, to disappear when their name was called. When Robin Williams revealed that Christine Lahti had won Best Actress Television Series Drama for her work in Chicago Hope at the Golden Globes in 1998, Christine Lahti was not present.
