Kriss, on the other hand, recently made headlines of their own, announcing in early December 2021 that they are transgender. ‘I just wanted to let you know that I am transgender, and my pronouns are they/them,’ Kris said in an Instagram post on December 4. Even now, I’m still Audrey.” They wrote, “I don’t want to hide from the world longer….” Yesterday, I was exactly the same person that I am now. This might be the first time you’ve seen me.
A member of Audrey Kriss’ family sent their support in the form of an Instagram message from Meri Brown: “I absolutely love you @audreykriss.”
They also called out those who have supported them, stating that they are “lucky” in the sense that not all transgender persons are surrounded by the same level of acceptance as they are.
