Stuck in Love Plot
The Borgens are here to introduce themselves. An accomplished author, William Borgens hasn’t written anything since his ex-wife Erica left him for another guy three years ago. His adolescent children Samantha and Rusty are the focus of Bill’s attention as he spies on Erica and has fun with his married neighbor Tricia. Samantha is getting ready to publish her debut novel and is determined to stay away from love like the plague after witnessing what it did to her parents.

After a string of hookups, she encounters “good guy” Lou, who will do anything to get her attention. “Life experiences” are important to Rusty, an aspiring fantasy writer, and Stephen King devotee. Upon meeting the stunning but troubled Kate, he experiences his first taste of true love and the pain that comes with it. Family, love, and how ends can lead to new beginnings are the themes of this story. There are no do-overs in life; there are only do-overs.
